Time Out for Health

Need some tips on how to fit healthy living into your daily life?

Break it up – If you don’t have time for a 30-minute workout, break it up into 10 or 15 minutes. You will still reap the benefits of a shortened routine.

Calendar date – Use your calendar and schedule a time to work out. Putting it on a calendar will help you stick with it.

Easy-peasey – Find a walking route or gym close by. The further you have to drive to exercise, the more likely you are to skip.

Early bird – Do your fitness routine in the morning. You’ll be less likely to miss it when you get it out of the way first.

Weekend warrior – Take full advantage of your time off on the weekends and save longer workouts for then.

 – Ride a bike wit the kids, take them on your walk. Do laps around the field when they are playing soccer.
